The Leas Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council Siobhan Ambrose is to lead a ceremony of remembrance and reflection in Holycross Park on Sunday.
The event it to remember those who died during the Pandemic and to pay tribute to everyone who has contributed to how we have faced and are facing the challenges together.
Representatives of frontline workers from the HSE, An Garda Siochana, the Irish Army, Tipperary Civil Defense, nursing home staff and retail workers have been invited to attend.
The public are also welcome to attend and the event will be live streamed on the Tipperary County Council Library YouTube channel. (Link is available in the embedded tweet below)
The event will include some musical pieces performed by a violinist and an uillean piper, an Ecumenical blessing, name reading ceremony, an address by both a Council Representative and Lead Cathaoirleach Ambrose, a wreath laying ceremony and a tree planting ceremony.
