A primary school in Cashel have secured grant approval for construction works to begin.
The works at St. John the Baptist Boys National School will consist two mainstream classrooms, including ensuite toilets, a ASD unit, staff toilets, a wheelchair accessible toilet and a boiler house.
The project will also include a new car park on the former HSE property that has been derelict for many years and associated ground works.
School Principal, Will Ryan, the Board of Management and its Chair, Monica Ryan, and the entire school community have been congratulated on a successful funding application.
The funding approval was welcomed by TDs Jackie Cahill, Michael Lowry, Martin Browne and Cllr Declan Burgess.
