A major new development in Clonmel has been approved by the Planning Authorities.
The Development is led by Torca Homes a Dublin based Developer.
The project is located at the former Dudley Mills site on Coleville road and will see the construction of 115 residential units.
The homes are a mix of houses sizes and also include 47 apartments of varying sizes.
The development is estimated to be worth 23.8 million euros. The project will also include an onsite childcare facility and make provision for 181 car parking spaces and 366 bicycle spaces.
Approval was granted by An Bord Pleanala under the governments Strategic Housing Development legislation.
This legislation was repealed by the Dail in December and replaced with a new planning process for Large Scale Residential Developments that restores planning decision-making to local authorities.
