Those organising festivals or events in Tipperary are reminded that the closing date for applications for financial support is noon on January 28th.
The council provides a range of financial support to match events of various size and scale as these events are crucial to the fabric of life in County Tipperary and deliver a range of economic, social and cultural benefits.
The theme of the events can range from artistic, cultural, heritage, sports and have a unique local theme.
The council aims to promote and support local festivals throughout the County that are not solely commercially focused and to support and assist those events that have a tourism/cultural/artistic/sporting or community focus and which contribute significantly to quality of life.
