The Labour Party is calling for the 2022 Leaving Cert to be a hybrid model of written exams and calculated grades.
The party which is led by Tipperary TD Alan Kelly wants the Minister for Education to act now and provide certainty to students.
They say the pandemic is still impacting on students’ educational experience and Fianna Fail’s Norma Foley needs to accept this.
Labour’s Education spokesperson Aodhán Ó Ríordáin is urging students to “make their voice heard” by signing their petition on the matter.
