Tipp Town Boil Water Notice Remains In Place

A boil water notice which was issued to Tipperary Town almost 10 days ago remains in place.

Irish Water are reminding customers on the Cordangan Water Treatment Plan that water should be boiled for drinking, preparing of food and brushing your teeth.

The notice affects over 4,800 residents and was put in place precautionary measure due to elevated turbidity or discoloration in the water supply.

Irish Water and Tipperary County Council continue their work to lift the Tipperary boil water notice as quickly as possible.
