Tipperary County Council is launching a new initiative called a New Approach to Social Housing Allocations for early 2022.
It is a system whereby approved housing applicants, can submit an expression of interest in advertised vacant social housing properties that become available for letting that they would like to live in and which meets their needs.
The properties will be advertised on a dedicated website which approved housing applicants will have to register to gain access too.
The scheme is intended to speed up the process of allocating available social housing and best meeting the priorities of housing applicants.
