Three Tipperary groups have been shortlisted for the National Heritage Week Awards. The nominees are
- Daughters of Dún Iascaigh historical Walking Tour – led by Cahir Women’s History Group
- Citizen Scientists water sampling project on the River Suir – led by Suircan Community Forum
- Virtual Field trip of the Slieveardagh Coal Fields – led by Slieveardagh Mining Interest Group.
The National Heritage Week Awards are taking place on 20th October. The ceremony will be broadcast live from the Croke Park Studio via the National Heritage Week Website www.heritageweek.ie/awards .
