The Moorehaven Centre, Tipperary Town, which supports service-users and the families of adults with intellectual disabilities, has today been awarded €28,000 in funding under the Strengthening Disability Services Fund.
Jackie Cahill, TD, announced the funding, after receiving confirmation from the Minister for Disability, Anne Rabbitte, who visited the centre in the summer with Cllr. Roger Kennedy and Deputy Cahill.
The funding was made available for the provision of counselling / psychotherapy services for the centre.
