Tipperary GAA Announces Retirement of Hurling Manager, Liam Sheedy

Tipperary GAA board has announced that Liam Sheedy has decided to retire from his position as Tipperary senior hurling manager.

In his statement Liam Sheedy said he returned in 2018 with the primary objective of Tipperary winning another All-Ireland SH championship. He said “ We did so in 2019 and having completed 3 years, I have decided that now is the right time for me to step away.”

Liam Sheedy thanked his family, backroom teams, management colleagues, players, county board, Tipp supporters club and team sponsor TENEO.

The county board thanked Liam for his commitment to the County during his term as manager acknowledging his contribution to Tipperary GAA but especially hurling with his management team of Darragh Egan, Eamon O’Shea, Tommy Dunne and Eoin Kelly
