Tour de Munster To Travel Through Tipperary Town

Today’s sees the commencement of the Tour De Munster Charity Cycle race in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland.

The Cyclists departed Cork earlier today and will travel via Lismore to reach Clogheen at approximately 1.30pm this afternoon. The cyclists and support vehicles will travel via Cahir at approx. 2.30pm, Tipperary Town at approx. 3.30pm, while Ballykisteen will feature as the lunch stop and then the trip continues towards Limerick at approx. 4pm.

The group will travel through Clare, Kerry and return to Cork with an estimated arrival time of 5.00 pm on Sunday. Cycling Legend Sean Kelly from Carrick on Suir is one of the participants on the 600km trip – full details can be found on www.tourdemunster.com

Drivers are advised to drive with caution and to expect cyclists and support vehicles along the route today.
