Tipp Council Encourages Public To Engage In Climate Action Plan

Tippeary County council are encouraging people to participate in a public consultation process for the next Climate Action Plan.  As part of this process, everyone has the opportunity to engage with an online Climate Conversations platform, this platform will seek people’s opinions on various elements of Climate Action and particularly perspectives on actions at a local level. Government want to hear from as many people as possible in order to ensure that a diverse range of perspectives and experiences inform the development of the next Climate Action Plan.

This consultation will include both the Public Participation Networks, who already have a separate, specific role in the consultation process, and the Local Community Development Committees (LCDCs), who will provide onward distribution to all of their members at a local level.
