Tipperary County Council Promotes Well-Being & Resilience During Covid Crisis

641

The Government in partnership with Tipperary County Council are promoting a major campaign around taking care of our well-being and resilience, as part of living with Covid19 though the upcoming months.

The Government launched a 5 part strategy to support the well being of each person – Healthy Ireland will build a programme of activates to support well being.

The Five areas are:

  • Keeping Active (with Sport Ireland as a lead partner)
  • Keeping in Contact  (via the Community Call helpline – 076106 5000
  • Getting Creative (with Creative Ireland as the lead agency)
  • Eating Well (a campaign to support the connection between the food you eat and how you feel involving Bord Bia, National Library service and  Safefood’s START programme)
  • Minding your mood (recognising that anxiety is a real problem)

The HSE will be delivering an online “Minding Your Mood” Program, and has an existing website at yourmentalhealth.ie

The message is to do at least one thing every day that will keep you well.

The government’s message is that we need healthy people, strong businesses and resilient communities.
