Tipperary County Council has outlined the essential services that are being restored with the lifting of some Covid-19 restrictions this week.

In the area of Local Authority Housing, the re-letting of units to new tenants is now going ahead as are housing allocations (by appointment only for the collection of keys).

Housing construction projects will also recommence on-site where social distancing protocols can be managed effectively.

When it comes to roads and transportation, the Annual Road Works Programme can recommence, as can routine roads maintenance, grass cutting and general maintenance in public spaces.

The Environment Section will be able to take water samples and conduct inspections where there is no direct engagement with the property owner.

Plenary council meetings will recommence from June 8th.
