Gardaí have arrested two people in relation to a serious public order incident in Clonmel last Monday, April 27.
The incident occurred in the Prior Park Road/Fethard Road area of Clonmel at around 6pm that evening.
A number of people were involved in this altercation in which Gardaí believe weapons were produced. No injuries were reported to Gardaí following the incident.
As part of investigation Gardaí in Clonmel this morning arrested a man in his early 40s and a woman in her late 30s.
Both are currently detained at Clonmel Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Prior Park Road or Fethard Road area of Clonmel, particular road users with video footage, between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Monday, April 27 to contact Clonmel Garda Station on 052-6177640.
