Management at South Tipperary General Hospital has made the decision to temporarily relocate its Oncology Day Ward to Aut Even Hospital in Kilkenny.
The change, which is effective from today was made to maximise the protection of vulnerable patients from Covid-19, whilst maintaining essential service as safely as possible.
Oncology staff will be contacting patients directly regarding their appointments.
Management has also confirmed that the Department has also spread out appointment times for those patients who need treatment, in order to comply with social distancing guidelines.
