33 Covid-19-related deaths have been recorded in Ireland in the last 24 hours.
30 deaths were located in the east and 3 in the west.
It brings the total number of deaths in Ireland to-date to 320.
There have also been two sets of figures relating to confirmed cases of Covid-19.
Irish laboratories have confirmed 553 new cases of Covid-19 – the largest number of cases in a single day to-date.
A laboratory in Germany that was testing a backlog of Irish samples has confirmed an additional 286 cases.
These figures raise the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland to 8,928.
