The man arrested on Sunday in connection with a fatal assault in Carrick-on-Suir at the weekend has been released without charge.
The victim, a man in his 40s, originally from eastern Europe and who had lived in the Co Tipperary town for more than 10 years, was stabbed at his apartment on Saturday night.
He was taken to Waterford University Hospital where he died yesterday morning (Monday).
A man in his 40s was arrested on Sunday.
He has since been released from Clonmel Garda Station without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
