A man is due to appear before Tipperary District Court today after being arrested and charged in connection with a robbery in Tipperary town last week.
At around 11 am on Thursday, January 30th, gardai received a report from a man who had just been punched. He and another man also had a small amount of cash taken from them.
Gardai subsequently launched an investigation, and yesterday (Tuesday) arrested a man aged in his 30s in Tipperary town.
He was detained at Tipperary Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before Tipperary District Court today.
