A man is due to appear in court following a garda operation in Co Tipperary yesterday that resulted in the seizure €100,000-worth of suspected cocaine and cannabis.
The man and a woman, both in their 20s, were arrested when gardaí searched a house in Lagganstown, Golden yesterday morning.
During the course of the search, a large quantity of suspected cannabis and a smaller quantity of cocaine was discovered in a car located on the grounds of the property. Around €2,250 in cash and drug paraphernalia were also seized during the course of the search.
The woman has since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the DPP.
The man is due to appear before Nenagh District Court today.
