A teenager is due in court today after being arrested by Carrick-on-Suir gardaí in relation to a burglary and theft from a car in the town earlier this week.
In the early hours of Monday morning, gardaí received a report of a burglary and the theft from a vehicle in the Pearse Square area.
Following a preliminary investigation by detectives and uniform gardaí from the Clonmel District, a man in his late teens was arrested yesterday, and was found to be in possession of a knife.
He was detained at Clonmel Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and has since been charged. He is due in court today.
