A Jobs4Tipp project designed to help people work from Tipperary town rather than traveling further afield to do so is to be launched at the Tipperary Technology Park tomorrow evening.
Known as the Tipp Digital Hub, its purpose is to allow people to work remotely from a ready-to-go office space that includes phone, high-speed internet access, and WiFi, as well as printing facilities and free parking.
The hub would allow individual workers to work from there as much or as little as they need, while it would also allow start-ups to use it as an initial base, thereby avoiding the need to immediately rent an office or enter a long-term contract.
Tipp Digital Hub will be launched tomorrow evening at 6 pm.
Morgan Mooney told Tipp Mid West this morning that the county council has helped out with the project and would be interested in expanding it, should there be demand for additional work spaces.
