Drugs worth an estimated €110,000 were seized by gardai in Co Tipperary yesterday.
The discovery was made when gardaí on patrol stopped a car in the Garracummer area of Kilcommon. Cocaine with an estimated value of €70,000 and €40,000-worth of cannabis herb were seized.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene, and he is currently being detained at Tipperary Town Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
Investigations are ongoing.
