County Championship Dates Announced.

14 rounds of games will be required to bring the hurling and football championship to its conclusion.

Round 2 of the county senior, intermediate and Junior A Football Championship will be played over the weekend of the 25th of August.

Fixtures to follow as soon as the date of the All-Ireland U/20 hurling final is finalised. Clubs with county u/20 players will be fixed for Tuesday 27th.

Round 2 of the county senior, intermediate hurling championship and round 2 of the Tipperary Water Seamus O’Riain Cup will go ahead over the weekend of the 1st of September

Round 3 of the county senior, intermediate hurling championship and round 3 of the Tipperary Water Seamus O’Riain Cup will go ahead over the weekend of the 8th of September.

Round 3 of the county senior, intermediate and Junior A Football Championship will be played over the weekend of the 15th of September.

Some games will be played as early as mid-week and up to the 15th.
The divisional hurling championship will reconvene, coming up to the weekend of the 22nd of September. It is envisaged two rounds will be played during that period.

Clubs are requested to leave their fields open for all championship games. The CCC will have no option but to fix quite a number of games mid-week and again they ask all clubs to have their venues available on these dates. Problems that arise in regards to field availability etc., will greatly affect the completion of championships for the required provincial dates.
