All roads lead to the Tipperary Town Plaza on Saturday, September 21st, when the All-Ireland Churn Rolling Championships return to thrill thousands in Tipp Town.
This year, the championships will be condensed into one night of thrills, spills and good old-fashioned fun – all at a new location.
Tipperary Co-op continues its tradition as proud sponsor the All-Ireland Churn Rolling Championships – an ongoing collaboration that has been vital to its success.
The wonderful Tipperary Vintage Rally is also coming onboard to wow the audience with a variety of novelty acts for all the family, while also volunteering as stewards.
The co-operation of Tipperary Town Plaza and the preparations they’re putting in place for the championships also guarantees an unforgettable experience!
This year’s championship will include heats in the following categories:
– Novice Races for Newcomers.
– Exhibition for Under-10s Boys and Girls.
– Under-14s Boys and Girls.
– Under-17s Male and Female.
– Senior Male and Female.
The Tipperary Churn Rolling Association always wants to hear from new participants, and this year is no different, with training taking place at various locations locally.
