Tipp Music Societies score at the AIMS Festival

573

It’s been a fantastic day for the musical societies of Tipperary at the AIMS Choral Festival in New Ross. Tipperary Musical Society (TMS) took home the Frank Cullinane Trophy for a second year running.

Congratulations to Emmet Donlan who was nominated for an AIMS Award for Best Supporting Actor in his role as Judas in TMS’s production of “Jesus Christ Superstar”. TMS was also nominated for Best Front of House.

Cathal Donoghue was nominated also for his role as De Valera in “Michael Collins” with Thurles Musical Society. St. Mary’s Choral Society was also honoured with two nominations for their production of “All Shook Up”. A fantastic result!
