The head of Tipperary Town’s Chamber of Commerce has today said that the upheaval caused by the road works on Davitt St cannot be tolerated when it comes to future projects.
Shane Kelly was speaking to Tipp Mid West about the impact that the road works are having on local businesses and residents.
He said the impact of these works must be analysed ahead of the next scheduled project – the planned resurfacing of the N24/Main St.
“The Chamber will be calling for a complete review of how this project was carried out, and we’ll be looking for an alternative method to actually deliver the improvements to the N24 and other roads into the future”, he said.
