Road markings are currently being laid, following the resurfacing of the junction yesterday. The council has also said that there will be some tidy-up works next week, including advance loops (sensors) on Bridge St and the raising of manhole covers.

Meanwhile, work on Lady’s Well Junction in Cashel is due to commence on Thursday next, December 6th. Those works are likely to take five working days.

The section of road known as the Kiln between the Circular Road and the Lady’s Well Junction will be closed for the works. Diversions will be in place via Camus Road and the Circular Road for access to Boherlahan/Holycross.

The other roads will be under traffic management.

It is possible that the final surface of the roundabout will be completed at night.
The Rock Carpark works will be completed after this in consultation with Bru Boru to minimise disruption.

The car park will be open at all times, and the road markings will be reinstated as per those existing, with no changes.

Lower Gate will be marked by a white-lining crew to introduce the circulatory one-way system shortly.
