Around 100 people attended a silent picket that was staged by the March4Tipp organisers outside the Civic Offices in Tipperary town today.
The picket was held as the monthly Municipal Council meeting took place.
According to the organisers, the demonstration was held in silence to symbolise how, in their view, the local authority is not listening to their concerns.
It followed the second March4Tipp on Saturday afternoon which was attended by an estimated two-and-a-half-thousand people all of whom demanded that the plight of the town in terms of unemployment, lack of investment and poor infrastructure are tackled by local and central government.
