A serious act of vandalism took place during the night at Kilfeacle RFC.
As a result, today’s match fixture has been canceled.
The vandals appear to have driven on to the pitch and cut down the steel goalposts at both ends of the pitch using cutting equipment.
Anybody who may have seen anything or have any information should contact their local Garda station.
