Today was a very special day at Tipp Mid West Radio, as Anne Power retired from her role as Station Manager. We would like to thank Anne for her amazing work & dedication over the last 14 years, and we wish her all the very best for the future.
In a message to staff and listeners posted on our Facebook Page, Anne said:
“Today is the day that I step down as Manager of Tipperary Mid- West Community Radio after 14½ years at the helm. I hope I have done some good during my time as Manager, but it is now time to hand over to my successor. I feel the radio is in very good hands, as Tom Hartnett (our new manager) has been working at the station for years. You all know Tom from the Lunchtime show.
I wish to thank everybody who helped me during my time as Manager, particularly the Committee of Management, the Staff, volunteers, and, most importantly of all, you the listeners.
