Four Towns Hit by Separate Water Mains Bursts

Separate water mains bursts are causing disruption to water supplies in the towns of Clonmel, Cashel, Carrick on Suir and Cahir this afternoon.

In Clonmel disruption to the water supply is being experienced in Boherduff Close, Hillside Close, Northview Close and surrounding areas.

Work is due to be completed shortly.

In Cahir a burst water main is also causing supply disruptions to Toureen, Ballydrehid, and surrounding areas.

A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.

Crews are working to restore the supply as soon as possible.

In Cashel, the Palmer’s Hill, The Green, Rockwood and Aras na Ri and Cashel town areas are also affected by essential works.

Works there have a completion time of 11pm.

And in Carrick on Suir, the St Nicholas Park area and its environs are also experiencing disruption to their supply because of a burst main.

Works have an estimated completion time of 8pm.
