An initiative run by the Road Safety Authority (RSA) and Toyota in which children’s car seats are checked for free will be coming to Tipperary town this week.
The Check It Fits Service will allow motorists to ensure that their child seat is fitted correctly.
The RSA and Toyota say that four out of five child car seats are incorrectly fitted.
Checks will be taking place in Tipperary town at Tipperary Co-op Supervalu’s car park between 10 am and 5.30 pm this Thursday, June 8th.
The checks will also take place in Clonmel on Wednesday and in Nenagh on Friday.
