Hayes Hotel Thurles sold for €650,000

Hayes Hotel Thurles has sold at the latest Allsop auction to take place at the RDS in Dublin.

The hotel which is widely known as being the birthplace of the GAA sold for €650,000

It is being reported that there were a number of bidders for the property, which increased the initial bid from €475,000.

The 30 bedroom hotel which also houses two nightclubs was sold to an unknown client.

Elsewhere 27 rented units in Lucan, Dublin also sold for €4.1 million. The development comes with overall rent of €331,632 per year.

A total of 250 properties were up for auction today with a combined reserve of €60 million.
