Gardai appeal for care on roads

427

Gardai in Tipperary Town are appealing to the public to again take care on the roads this Bank Holiday weekend.

Gardaí are warning that roads are still very slippery since the weather changed and are asking that motorists still exercise caution, especially with an expected rise in traffic on the country's roads in the next few days.

Anyone who may be going away for the weekend are also advised to ensure they lock away their valauables and to leave keys and contact details with their neighbours.

Should the weather improve to any extent over the weekend, gardai are appealing to the public not to swim in flooded quarries.
