The shortlist of nominees for Tipperary International Peace Award have been named.
The five contenders for the award include the Pakistani schoolgirl who was shot for campaigning for the education of young girls. Malala Yousafzai, The US Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, The president of the Indian National Congress, Sonia Ghandi, Keynan journalist John Githongo and Catholic peace movement, Pax Christi International.
The winner will be announced on January 1st, 2013.
