Retail group Musgraves has completed a deal to purchase two Supervalu stores in Kilkenny and Clonmel saving 86 jobs.
The stores, in Poppyfield Retail Park in Clonmel and in Thomastown went into receivership in 2011. Since then Musgraves began working with receivers Farrel Grant Sparks to keep the stores open.
The 86 workers at the stores will now transfer to Musgraves.
