The former Pall Ireland factory in Tipperary town has been sold.
The factory, which closed down last year, has been on the market with an asking price of €2 million, but it is believed that the property sold for around €1 million.
The site on Rosanna Road was zoned for Industrial and Employment, but was advertised as being suitable for other uses subject to planning permission.
It closed last year and was seen as a devastating blow for employment in Tipperary town with a loss of 71 full time and 23 temporary jobs.
