Upon a request by Tipperary Chamber of Commerce TIRD, Tipperary Town Council has agreed with a request to provide free car parking spaces in the town during the Christmas period.
Parking in the town's car parks will be free each Saturday on the following dates Dec 8th, 15th and 22nd. Free parking will also be available on-street on December 17th and 21st. The same will also apply to Christmas Eve December 24th. The move follows a similar initiative put in place last year to aid the retail industry.
