Strike action at Bulmers in Clonmel has been suspended.
The decision to plan strike action for today was taken after a member of the managerial staff was made redundant in a process that the union claims breached the company’s 2009 collective agreement governing redundancy terms.
However, the strike was called off after the company pledged to honour the terms of the 2009 agreement and to engage further with the union.
