Tipperary town gardaí are continuing in their appeal for witnesses to yesterday's fatal crash to come forward.

The crash, which claimed the lives of two people occured just after 7o'c yesterday morning at Limerick Junction.

Meanwhile the victims of the crash have been named locally as Mary O'Donnell aged 43 and John Ryan aged 80. Ms O'Donnell lived in Barronstown and was originally from Golden, while Mr Ryan lived nearby in Monard. Tipperary town gardaí can be contacted on 062 80670.
