Multi Million Euro Project opened in Moneygall today

A multi-million Euro project which will house a service station, fast food restaurant and historical centre focussing on the visit of the US President Barak Obama to Moneygall opened  today.

Located just off the M7 at Junction 23, is expected to create 60 jobs between construction and running the facility itself.

The Barak Obama Plaza will also house material concerning the links the US president has with Moneygall and is expected to be a particular draw for tourists.
