Gardai calling the public's attention

Gardai are calling the public's attention to a man who is calling to houses in the Kilfeakle area, falsely claiming he is working on behalf of the ESB.
He is maintaining that he is checking meters for the company. However the ESB has been contacted and he is not working for them.
He is believed to be driving a small grey hatchback car.
