Independant TD Seamus Healy gave a warning this morning in the wake of a leaked draft report in which proposals to cut the number of maternity units in the south east from four to three are contained.
Speaking to Tipperary Mid West Radio Deputy Healy said that should the maternity unit in Clonmel be scrapped it would downgrade the hospitals status to day hospital status.
