Following the confirmation of his retirement today Paul O'Connell says he is interested in Coaching.
The Young Munster man says he made the decision to retire on medical advice after picking up a hamstring injury at the World cup.
The 36 year old had signed for Toulon and while he will not be able to play for the European champions he says club owner Mourad Boujallal was understanding of his decision.
The Limerick man says he is interested in coaching but it maybe some time before he gets to work with Munster.
Former Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan says it's sad for O'Connell not to retire on his own terms.

Announcement expected regarding fire station for Cashel Town.

According to local TD Noel Coonan, an announcement is due to be made regarding a new fire station for Cashel town.
In a statement, the Fine Gael TD said that the upcoming announcement follows-on from a similar announcement recently about a new fire station for Templemore.
He states that work has been going on in the background involving the fire services division of Tipperary County Council and management.
He said the official announcement is due to be made by the Environment Minister Alan Kelly shortly.
Number of patients on trolleys at South Tipp Hospital high

The number of people on trolleys at South Tipperary General Hospital was particularly highon Friday.
According to the latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation today, 22 people were on trolleys awaiting beds.
Nationally, the figure for people on trolleys at A&Es or on wards as they await beds, was 341.
There were only two other hospitals outside Dublin that had more people on trolleys that STGH. Those were University Hospital Limerick where 31 people awaited beds and University Hospital Galway, where the figure was 23.
Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda also had 22 people waiting to be assigned beds.
GP services will be back to normal in Bansha from next Mon.

GP services will be back to normal in Bansha from next Monday.
Services in the Co Tipperary village were suspended this week and patients were referred to a Tipperary town GP after an arrangement with a locum doctor fell short.
However, it has been confirmed that the services of another locum have been secured and, from Monday next, full-time GP services in Bansha will operate as normal.
The proposed construction of 24 new social housing units approved

The proposed construction of 24 new social housing units in the north of the county has been approved.
Plans for 1000 units in total were announced by the Department of the Environment nationally at an estimated cost of €182.5 million.
€4 million of that has been put aside for projects in three areas of the county.
€2,100,000 will be spent on 12 units in Borrisoleigh; 6 units for Templetouhy, costing €1,100,000 and €700,000 is to be made available to assist Thurles Lions Trust Housing Association in the construction of 6 units in the town.
