The fifth National Housing Index has shown a continued drop in housing construction activity in County Tipperary.
The research found that from January to October 2012 the planning figures for County Tipperary dropped by 25% this year compared to 23% last year.
It also showed that planning commencements in Tipperary are now down by 17%.
Nationally there has been a fall of 9% in planning commencements and an 18% fall in planning applications.
