It is claimed a row over a CD led to the death of a man in a West Tipperary village three years ago.
29 year old Edward O'Donnell died three days after he was allegedly asssaulted in Bansha.
Dan Delaney of Carrowclough Tipperary Town was in court on manslaughter charges in relation to the death.
The 21 year old Delaney told Gardai he punched Edward O'Donnell on the head after he threatened to have him killed and burn his house down over a compact disc.
The court heard from the assistant State Pathologist Mgt Bolster who stated that "Edward O'Donnell died from a haemorrhage consistant with a blow to the head or neck."
The trial continues.
