Storm Callum will reach Ireland from the west tonight. There is an Orange weather alert in place for coastal counties and a Yellow weather alert is in place for County Tipperary until Friday, October 12th.

South to southeast winds will gust to between 90 and 110 km/h. A spell of heavy rain will accompany the winds.

Gardai have urged people to be aware of fallen debris on roads and flooding near waterways.

There is a distinct possibility that power supply will be affected in Co. Tipperary tonight and tomorrow so please be prepared. Also, we encourage people to check on elderly or vulnerable neighbours when safe to do so.
