Investigations continue into fatal stabbing of man in Pallasgreen overnight
The 31 year-old man was found fatally stabbed at a house in the Grove Estate in Pallasgreen on Thursday night.
There are reports that the victim, believed to be from Limerick City, had attempted to intervene in a dispute between a woman and another man.
Gardai say it's too early to confirm that report or a motive for the death- however they believe around eight young people were in the house at the time.
A woman aged 34 was taken to University Hospital Limerick with a suspected stab wound following the incident, although her injuries aren't life-threatening.
Two men- aged 20 and 32- were arrested in connection with the incident- they're being held at Henry Street and Roxboro Garda Stations.
Meanwhile, Pallasgreen is coming to terms with the news, with people there shocked by events.
