Bogus workmen trying to gain access to peoples houses.

Gardai in Tipperary town are advising homeowners to seek identification from anyone calling to their door claiming to carry out water or sewage inspections. 

Gardaí are acting on reports of bogus workmen trying to gain access to peoples homes by falsy claiming that they are carrying out work on behalf of particular companies.

As aresult gardai are advising homeowners to thoroughly check the identity of anyone who calls to their home claiming they are authorised to do so.
